"Mom which dress shall I wear ? " I asked mom , as I knew my shelf was too messy to find a nice dress ! Mom and I were getting ready for the exciting party that we had planned with my friends and a few aunties .
Mom and I go to play outside near my friend's appartment everyday . There each and everyone is my friend and even my mom's ! Day-before yesterday Anjani aunty gave us an idea of a party in Mcdonalds in Meenakshi Mall. We all thought for a while and decided for 26th January as it was a holiday; it was our 68th Republic day though.
At last my mom gave me a jeans , a top and a sweater to wear for the get-together ................
It was 3:39 p.m but mom was still not ready . We had planned to reach the playground at 4:00 p.m and then get started . She whore a sari and was combing her hair . Milli said that she would be there just on time , but I could not see her yet . Dad told me to go and check whether others had come or not . I went and stood on the road and as soon as I looked up I could see Najma aunty ,Poonam aunty ,Hitha , and Jayashree aunty coming towards me . I called mommy and asked her to come . She came and stoood beside me.They all had reached the ground .
So , we were waiting for Bhasker and Varsha to come . All the aunties were wearing kurties and mom was the odd one out as she was wearing the sari . Jayashree aunty insisted mom to change the sari and wear a kurti . Mom then again went back home to change and come . By the time mom came ,Milli and Pranav had reached .
Now my mom came back and we all were waiting for Bhasker to come . But by the time we had decided to go call him ; he had already come . We asked him that where was Varsha but he did not know any thing about her . Finally I, Hita , Vishrut , Bhasker and Pranav went to call Varsha ........
We knocked her door and aunty said that she had gone to the tailor shop . So , we waited and waited untill came Varsha with her frock on . Convincing the aunties for Varshas reason of being late was a bit difficult job , but we really did manage .
At last we set off and started walking . Meenakshi Mall was at a walking distance of 10 minutes from our house so we talked and walked , laughed and ran and we finally reached the Mall. In the lift mom counted how many of us were there . "Me , Kripa ,Varsha ,Milli ,Jayashree ,Najma ,Poonam ,Bhasker ,Anjani , babloo , Pranav and Vishrut . " ,said mom .
We ate and had a lot of fun ordering the food . Having food together was a great fun after many days . We all took a round of the mall . We stopped in a few shops . Najma aunty wanted to buy some dresses and had stopped at those . Then we went to AMEOBA but really didn't play games !
Milli and Jayashree aunty's phone had a lot of work clicking photos ........!
Then we all thought of going back . It was almost 6:30 p.m . As soon as I stepped outside the mall ,to my surprise it was drizzling , so we walked a bit fast .We reached our layout and started shouting and screeming ; the street was a bit dark ,so the few people standing on the road may have got scared seeing a whole group of people walking towards him !............
We all said HIP-HIP - HURRAY and wished everyone a happy republic day . I then said good bye to all my friends and went back home . It was truly fun going with friends and playing , laughing and all thoose stuff , Ijust loved my republic day ...........................!!!!
