The silence in the room,
Not uncommon though,
Always feels awkwardly the same...
Noise of the fan's rotating wings,
Squirrels calling at a distance,
Frequent sounds of paper flipping,
Unmindfully writing my name,
On the supplementary sheets, idly sitting...
Monotonous !!!
Fidgeting !!!
Sighs !!!
A shrill call breaks the silence when,
All of a sudden and student says,
" Ma'am Supplementary..." and before he can finish,
She heads straight to the table, grabs the sheet,
And with steps that are stable, approaches the boy,
Unfortunately, though, he gets a short stare from the backbenchers...
I sway my head side by side,
Rechecking my paper multiple times,
As I glance out of the window, my eyes take notice of a miracle!!!
Underneath a broadleaf, a protruding muddy surface,
"Perhaps it is the two-bedroom house of the wasp," I think to myself
" Which she has built delicately, waiting for her little champs."
( who were yet to come out of the eggs)
What are we learning here?
Look how nature teaches much,
In the time wasted by us,
I wait for the watch to strike twelve...
Whispering to myself-
" Next time I will learn how a nest is built!!"
For that is more interesting than,
Monotonous, Fidgeting Sighs...
