The Silly Chats with Myself :)

I wouldn't mind if you'd call me insane, trust  me, I wouldn't. First thing's first, I don't care what people think about me! Secondly, isn't it pretty obvious to call a person in love, stupid and mad? Of course it is. Well, if the person's in love with a fictional character then definitely, yes.

But I couldn't stop falling in love with Sherlock Holmes, I just couldn't. Not only Sherlock Holmes, I fell in love  with Wilbur and Charlotte in E.B.White's " Charlotte's  Web", and I fell in love with Geronimo Stilton, "Holy whiskers!!" he'd say, if he knew that there is a human admirer of his! Not only that, I fell in love with Rusty, Dr. John Watson, Hermione Granger, Captain Nemo, The secret seven, The Adventure Series by Enid Blyton ( apparently all of 'em were brilliant), and the list goes on...

But, what a satire!! Oh dear, none of it is real, is it? No, certainly not. So, so very disheartening!! I want bury myself deep... this is the most ironical moment for an avid reader, for every one who loves reading, and just like me falls in love with those fictional characters; people who don't even exist in the real world! Now what would you call that, insane? Psychopathy? Stupid? Oh, give it whatever name you want, I shall call it LOVE.

This is the purest form of love. It is like devotion, when we pray to the almighty( ignore if you are an atheist), when you seek for  science if anything else makes no sense; it is love at its best. And when does it reach the peak of irony? It's when you close the book and you know that all the love you felt, all those feelings were true, except, the fact that the pillars on which your love was to rely was a BIG LIE. Period. What a pleasant nightmare!!

Do you know the beauty of this love? It is not love at first sight, it is called gradual love. You don't ever get to see what that person  looks like, so you don't have a chance of loving the beauty of the face; you love the person's nature, the attitude, the voice that you've never heard, the smile that you've only imagined, the heart that you and only you've felt, and most importantly, the man that you've never seen, and I doubt you'll ever get see!

It is not the love you can propose to, it is feeling that might make you sense grief and relief, both at the same time. It's hard to admit, but it's sort of a one sided love, ain't it? You don't realize how, but it just happens.

That is MAGIC, magic of literature and emotions, and people, who never knew you and whom, probably you'll never know, personally at least.

So, what to do? Oh I don't have any idea, maybe write... that could be an option. Or...um... Cry, cause I have cried, or laugh, or shout, or eat, you may chose to sleep as well. But no matter what, it's tough to overcome the heartbreak. Many don't even bother to think of all this. But I assure you, I am not on the side of those many, not at all! After all there's something called my perspective...

But what I don't understand is, how can words, mere words give me a new life- and snatch it away from me, whenever it wishes to? Unexplainable!!

How did you program the human mind, God? Indeed you made it complex and miraculous!! Now, you are another invisible genius.

But why talk of "love at it's best" at midnight. Well, just popped up in my head, so yeah, there we go...

That's what a writer does, isn't it? Pen down all that comes to his/her mind. Lovely!

Let's talk mystery, now. Um... interesting. There's a bungalow out there, right opposite to my apartment building. Standing there for  ages, I guess. In front of it lays a big lawn, at least it was supposed to be a lawn- probably once neatly maintained- now it is what the kids call, " Whispering Bushes". Spooky ain't it, right in the middle of the city, with electricity, government(funny), urban people(funnier), and technology ( funniest, this one).

"The world has changed," you'd say, " No one believes in haunted houses

spooky and weird stuff like that". Of course, in this world where the news channels are more concerned about a celebrity's marriage decor, over discussing about sustainable development!! This may sound idiotic, but, rather than putting ideas and policies in children's text books, it would do a greater help if those information could be projected on platforms that are meant for actual news.

But the world hasn't stopped being ridiculous, has it?!!! Neither will it ever be. Mark those words, in this world, where there are very few humans with the knowledge of using their brains and themselves right, you are in an advantageous position, only put your common sense to use. Don't be silly, don't be lazy, and most importantly, be obsessed with improving yourself, every moment.

Recently I've been keenly looking into stories of Sherlock Holmes, and to be honest, at this moment I am so desperate to meet him, that I'd jump off a cliff, if I had to. No, no; thought rejected, Mr. Holmes wouldn't have thought it to be clever enough to jump of a cliff for any fictional character.

Yet, here I present myself to you; this is me, I get obsessed with a person, a character, to be more precise, when I find him/her interesting.

But then my mind informs me the reality, which I then very carefully note down, ' It is not true'.

But there is indeed a lot we can learn from our own patterns and habits, can't we? Sure we can. So, I have concluded that I write down all I like about a specific character, that's making me obsessed about him/her, then try to inculcate those skills and habits in me, if possible, only to improve myself. Let's start.

SHERLOCK HOLMES:

1. Observant

2. Daring

3. Clever

4.Humorous

5. Intelligent, rather informative

6. Arrogant, to some extent

7. Ignorant, sometimes absent minded, whenever not needed.

8. Caring, in a different way

9. Intuitive

10. Quick

11. Friendly, to his only friend at least

12. Alert

13.Loving, to his dear ones

14. Dumb, in matters of love, to be accurate

These were the qualities that I noticed, ignoring the physical characteristics- Height, facial features- although I must say that Benedict Cumberbatch is a very handsome man, with sharp features and brilliant acting skills; that's true, I've been entertaining myself with a little bit of " SHERLOCK" in Netflix these days!!

To conclude this silly chat of mine with silence of the room at midnight (and you), cause it actually is midnight now, I'd say- thank you for your patience.

Now get lost! Haven't you a lot many things to do? Don't blame the world for it, blame your procrastinating ideas!!!

Ciao folks!!!

The Window

A cloud of dust, unexpectedly appear,

When I push the curtain apart,

And let the sun rays smear,

To inform me, " It is a new start,"

I unlock the latch of the window,

And push it open to greet,

The coco-nut tree, my neighbour,

To inhale life, to breathe...

Quarantine...What Else?

Monotonous hours spent in distress,

Awaiting dispersal, holding our breath,

The only sound echoing across the news,

‘ Corona Virus…pandemic…unexpected life threat'

Quarantine came at its rescue,

Shut doors, shut windows,

And physical contact too…

 But not all was shut!!

For a whole new world of lessons lay,

Ahead of all, as a guide to win the life’s race

And stay safe till our hair turned grey…

If only we’d be more careful,

Lives could be saved,

Loved ones could be embraced,

Staying home, that wasn’t difficult at all!!

Yet many lost, and now live, depressed …

We all could have cooperated a bit more,

So no one had to leave the other at the shore….

Now it’s all done, so pray!!

Next time I will do all I learned… I will-I promise

Done With The Test!!

The silence in the room,

Not uncommon though,

Always feels awkwardly the same...

Noise of the fan's rotating wings,

Squirrels calling at a distance,

Frequent sounds of paper flipping,

Unmindfully writing my name,

On the supplementary sheets, idly sitting...

Monotonous !!!

Fidgeting !!!

Sighs !!!

A shrill call breaks the silence when,

All of a sudden and student says,

" Ma'am Supplementary..." and before he can finish,

She heads straight to the table, grabs the sheet,

And with steps that are stable, approaches the boy,

Unfortunately, though, he gets a short stare from the backbenchers...

I sway my head side by side,

Rechecking my paper multiple times,

As I glance out of the window, my eyes take notice of a miracle!!!

Underneath a broadleaf, a protruding muddy surface,

"Perhaps it is the two-bedroom house of the wasp," I think to myself

" Which she has built delicately, waiting for her little champs."

( who were yet to come out of the eggs)

What are we learning here?

Look how nature teaches much,

In the time wasted by us,

I wait for the watch to strike twelve...

Whispering to myself-

" Next time I will learn how a nest is built!!"

For that is more interesting than,

Monotonous, Fidgeting Sighs...

CHERISH THY LONELINESS

 Silent, solitary, and shivering nights,

Have taught me indeed,

What it is to be a saint,

And stay... to receive the light you need

Cherish thy loneliness,

For you, no one shall wait,

Walk it alone, it's your journey,

Don't sit cowardly, afraid!!

Life is giving you the time you require,

Embrace thy emptiness,

Pray to the one up higher,

And... patiently wait for the consequence

You shall be blessed,

With the shower of the holy light,

For which you have stayed up all day and night

Hope for it...

Cherish thy loneliness...

Wait...

Song of the Koel, chirps of the sparrow,

Jumping of the squirrels from gaps narrow,

Morning alarm of the cock, the croak of frogs...

Now I know, who taught these scholars' of melody,

The art of rhythm, beats, and heavenly glory...

It is the boy with a peacock feathered crown,

The one with the flute, the charm of the town,

Whose eyes have the humble strength,

Of consoling your heart, and stealing  your breath

Blue of the boundless sky, pink of the sunset,

On the leaves green, let a droplet rest

After a day of work and life,

Let the sky, wave towards the west,

Now I know, who let life smear into the universe,

It is that boy,

Who is the spark of life in everyone,

He is the dark little notorious one,

Wait for his arrival...

Wait...

The Urban Rains!!

The dancing branches,
The giggling leaves,
The triumphant clouds,
The after summer breeze...

A moment of grumbling and rumbling of clouds
 A warning in disguise,
Storm and dust, and rain and drops,
Such is mother nature's growls...

 The urban man enjoys,
A cup of coffee on his balcony,
The peasant on the other hand,
Awaits good harvest,
 And celebrates in harmony...

The tadpoles and frogs sing in the ponds,
Peacocks dance and show their heavenly bonds...

I stand still,
EMBRACING my SOLITUDE...
Resting in HIS refuge!!!

BEHOLD!!

Hollow is the heart, in the AIR of confusion

A mob of questions, MIND can draw no conclusions

Uncertain every moment, BEHOLD!! DIVINE UNION...

Greed, sorrow, envy, fear...

Has conquered the mind,

Not a thing REAL, not a decision clear,

Querries unheard, all left BEHIND

Uncertain every moment, BEHOLD!! DIVINE LIGHT...

No reason, no answer, not a BEING ones own

No faith, no feelings, for truth the souls yearn

Uncertain every moment, BEHOLD!! DIVINE UNION...

Far AWAY, the lawn of TRUTH

First AWAITS a range of LIES,

Dying, the OCEAN in thirst...

Wandering, the land in search of EARTH...

BEHOLD!! DIVINE UNION...

CRAWL

Across the BLUE, behind the GREEN

Stands a world I visit no more,

It ain't a lie, it ain't a dream,

The vast expanse is a witness in it's own...

For truth remains a riddle forever,

A purpose of life to those who endeavour.

In search of truth, many have triumphed,

And having done so, many labelled disloyal,

For Earth is a land of illusion indeed,

Faithful treason, the growing breed,

Why vengeance you need,

Seek him, the only one,

CRAWL; heavenly retreat...

For not all that is seen is true, the facts of the unknown prevail within you...

Reality!!!! - ( this product is man-made)

They say on this heavenly earth,
Dwell creatures of great intelligence
But I don't see why, such conclusions about humans
Hardly makes any sense.

Is there nobody, who wants to discern the twilight?
Is there nobody who likes to talk to the wind, by the sea side?
Answer me.......no one?
I guess there aren't enough placid souls,
To interpret the grace these moments hold...

Indeed, this world lives around the worry which they carry,
And pass it on to generations, that's the tyranny!!
All we have are miseries and complaints that we bear,
Why? Why doesn't man little happiness share?

Honestly, I wish to make my abode on a ship
The sea is my love, the blue sky above...
My life is complete every bit...

Alas! I hear a call from behind,
I realise it was all a dream, reality will never be of that kind...
It is time to open my eyes, yet I'll choose to be blind,
Lost in dream, my eye-lids down, which not one shall find!!

That night, reality, reality struck me
I concluded that I was but a caged life,
Afraid of the fake man-made reality...
Indeed, afraid of the fake man-made reality...
